The Bernocchi dyeworks was set up in 1954 by Dr. Mario Bernocchi, a tenacious and eclectic entrepreneur. It rapidly established its position in the textile sector in the processing, dyeing and finishing of carded wool, a classic core product of Prato manufacture. Over the 1970s the inspired flair of Dr. Mario Bernocchi led the Tintoria Bernocchi to expand the range of its product processing to include clothing fabrics in polyester and mixed synthetics, combed wool and cellulose textiles, which now represent most of its production. Elements we have always considered crucial are the capacity to respond rapidly to the constantly shifting trends of the fashion sector, the utilisation of top technologies and a team of expertly qualified personnel to assist customers throughout the development of the collections; these features continue to represent the launching-pad from which we set out to tackle the international markets. Today we continue our commitment with the same energy as always.
